We start with a first look and portraits at Casa Romantica.

Ceremony at the Beach
After portraits, we head down toward the San Clemente Pier.
Your ceremony takes place on the sand, with the ocean just steps away.

Depending on the time of year, this often lines up with sunset.
Availability
Because Casa Romantica is a popular venue for larger events, this experience is typically available Monday through Thursday — when the property is quieter and more relaxed.

Do we need permits for the beach or Casa Romantica?
No permit is required for a simple beach ceremony near the San Clemente Pier with under 20 guests.
Casa Romantica does require a photography permit, and we take care of that for you ahead of time so the day stays simple and stress-free.
Why does the day start at Casa Romantica and end at the beach?
Casa Romantica closes in the afternoon, so we begin there with your first look and portraits.
From there, we move toward the beach as the sun gets lower, giving you the best light for your ceremony and a natural flow from architecture to ocean.
Can guests be part of this experience?
Yes — small groups work great for the beach ceremony.
Casa Romantica is typically limited to the couple for photography, but guests can join for the ceremony and the rest of the experience.
What happens during the ceremony?
Ceremonies are simple and personal, right on the sand.
Many couples choose to include our Lei of Love ceremony, where you exchange leis before your vows — a quiet, meaningful moment that adds something different without overcomplicating the day.
What happens after the ceremony?
After your ceremony, we continue with a relaxed beach portrait session as the light softens.
