Ceremony at Laguna Beach City Hall
Your ceremony takes place at Laguna Beach City Hall with the city clerk.
Before your appointment, you’ll need to pick up a California marriage license through the Orange County Clerk-Recorder.
Most couples handle this a few days ahead of time, and the process is quick with an appointment.
The ceremony fee is about $100 and is paid directly to the city on the day.
Once everything is signed, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy.

You’ll need a valid California marriage license before your ceremony.
This is handled through the Orange County Clerk-Recorder and usually only takes a short appointment.
Bring it with you on the day of your ceremony, and the city will take care of filing everything after.

After the ceremony, we head out onto Forest Avenue.
Downtown Laguna has a mix of textures, light, and small details that make it perfect for portraits — galleries, stairways, side streets, and coastal views just around the corner.
We move at a relaxed pace.
Nothing staged.

Just natural moments as we make our way through town.
The Walk to the Ocean
Forest Avenue leads straight down to Main Beach.
After spending time downtown, we continue toward the water — just a short walk to the sand.
We’ll finish with a few final portraits near the shoreline, often by the lifeguard tower, before wrapping up.
